Channel 8 News in Phoenix interviews Leslie Lindo, SoSBAP’s co-founder and Chief Instructor.

...our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet.  We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's futures...

~ John F. Kennedy

Speech at The American University, Washington, D.C., June 10, 1963

The Sonoran Sustainable Building Advisor Program (“SoSBAP”) presents students with an in-depth examination of the principles of sustainability on which the LEED framework is based. The course offers a hands-on approach that challenges students to understand problems and craft innovative solutions.

Course participants will learn to apply materials, technologies and best practices of sustainability sciences, moving beyond the LEED point framework towards an holistic approach to sustainability for the designed environment.  Learn more about the difference between SoSBAP and LEED?

The SoSBAP approach is to optimize systems of people, material, energy, and information.  SoSBAP integrates these elements in a single detailed curriculum that is recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council as a 400-level mastery course in sustainability.  Learn more
